What is a preset?
A preset is a filter for your photos. Instagram includes a few, but those are not what we want for our pictures! Lightroom is Adobe’s program for editing and is the most complete and advanced out there. There are tons of things that you can adjust in your photos. Instead of having to adjust the settings to each and every picture, the preset is already set with all of the settings to make that picture ‘picture perfect’ in just seconds.
Why will this help me?
Editing can take so much time! Who wants to spend hours editing photos when they can edit with the click of a button? Our presets will help your photos come to life, while giving you more time to focus on other things with your time. Not only will your photos look great, but they will create consistency in your feed. This will help if you are looking to create a profile for any kind of business or collaborations, will bring a higher following, and make your Instagram look more professional.
Is it easy to use?
The presets are designed to make editing easier than ever before! In just seconds you will have the product ready to use, and your photos will be escalated to the next level with just one click!
Will they work on all of my photos?
Presets work on the majority of pictures, but not ALL. This is due to the fact that the lighting and coloring can vary greatly in each photo. For example, you may have an overexposed photo that doesn’t need any brightening. You may also have a photo that is very dark and needs to be lightened up. This may require a different preset. For this reason, we include 10 different presets in each bundle, to cover a wide range of photos.
One preset may look great on one photo and terrible on the next. But that’s why there are plenty more to choose from! Additionally, the presets are there for a base edit, and may need details adjusted slightly.
For example, you may love the colors and effects of a preset, but the photo might be a little dark still. In this case, you can add the preset, and then adjust the exposure a tad to create the perfect photo! If you need any help with minor adjustments after applying the preset, we’re here to help! Our commitment to you is that you finish with photos that you are 100% happy with.
Maybe you love a preset and think a certain color is too intense. Not to worry- we will walk you through the small adjustment to fix that.
Why are there so many different bundles? And how will I know which one to choose?
We have created different bundles (more coming soon!) that all are directed towards different photography styles. There is no right and wrong when it comes to editing- just different! Some people like vibrant and colorful photos, and some people like light and airy edits. What many photographers do is create bundles specifically for one style.
With our preset bundles, we’ve done something a little different! As certain scenarios sometimes require different types of editing, we created the perfect bundle to highlight those scenarios- and then played with a different style within each bundle
What does this mean? Well, let’s give you an example. Our Life In Color bundle is best for the photos that you want to bring to life with vibrancy. While our adventure pack has different presets for all different spots in nature that would require very different edits such as cenotes, caves, deserts, or waterfalls.
When I purchase the presets how will I get them on my phone?
Have no fear! Syncing the presets to your phone is easy as pie. With each purchase we will include a very detailed step-by-step process, to have your presets ready to use I. Just a minute!
Can I use the presets on my phone and my computer?
The presets are designed to be able to be used on both the computer and cellphone. However, because the presets have different compatibility, we offer the presets in different packages- those for the ones who like to edit on the computer, and those for the ones who like a quick edit on their phone. In case you’d like both, we offer a package deal for all in one presets! This will include 20 files instead of 10.
What if I don’t like the presets?
Due to the fact that the presets are a digital product, there are unfortunately no refunds. However, we are here to make sure you are happy with your product! Please feel free to reach out to us, and we will be more than happy to find a solution. But don’t worry, we’re sure you’ll love them!
Can I try the presets out before buying them?
Of course! We want all of our customers to be 100% happy with their purchase. Feel free to email us at hello@scratchyourmapa.com and send us some of your photos! We will apply the presets and send to you, so that you can buy the presets that work for you.Can I buy the presets as a gift? Of course! Just shoot us an email with your info and we will be happy to deliver the presets to the person of your choice.
What if I’m having difficulty using the presets?
